Since our first partnership with Arkansas Press Association in 1995, Newz Group has assisted the press in America navigate an increasingly digital world. We’ve modernized traditional press clipping services across the Midwest, preserved thousands of newspapers on our servers, and helped smaller newspapers make the transition to e-editions with affordable and user-friendly e-edition hosting solutions.

TIMELINE

1995 - 1996

Company Begins Its Course in Arkansas and Iowa

Acquired the Arkansas Newspaper Clipping Service in 1995 and began working with the first of many press associations. The next year, the company expanded to Iowa and began working with the Iowa Newspaper Association.
1997 - 1998

Expanded into Missouri, Kentucky, and West Virginia

Acquired the Missouri, Kentucky, and West Virginia press clipping operations and began working with the respective statewide press associations.
1999 - 2001

Expanded into South Carolina, Texas, Kansas, and Wyoming

Expanded geographic service area to include four additional states, and the company began working with the press associations of each.
2002

Began Digital Processing

Introduced a new digital process to the press clipping system with an emphasis on improving the quality of service provided to media monitoring clients and the press.
2007

Began Hosting Statewide Public Notice Websites

Introduced a new service to provide online posting of legal and public notices from across partner states.
2007 - 2009

Expanded into Colorado, New Mexico, and the Dakotas

Began working with the statewide newspaper associations of four additional states following the acquisition of their statewide press clipping bureaus.
2009

Began Processing Digital Editions

Began receiving complete digital PDF editions directly from members of statewide press associations.
2011

Introduced Digital Archiving Services

Began providing digital archiving services to the partner press associations and their memberships. Also, rolled out new service tools to help partner press associations review statewide archives to improve advertising systems.
2015

20 Million Archived Pages

Surpassed 20 million pages of archived PDF pages from partner press association members.
2022

Completely Digital Process

Sunset all physical processing.
